WestShore Public Relations is a full-service public relations, social media and marketing communications firm founded by Mike DeVilling in 2019. The firm provides strategic communications planning and execution in the automotive, real estate and energy sectors.

Of course, that’s just the generic description.

What really sets WestShore apart?

Hustle. Service. Passion for seeing clients win.

What does this mean in the real world? It’s staying up for 37 hours straight to help a client finalize details for a huge trade show announcement. It’s working eight hours on a project in London, then hopping on the phone to work another eight hours on a crisis for a client in Phoenix.

It’s the extra call to a reporter, the digging for one more detail that will set a client apart, it’s finding the right audience online and helping fuel their fire for your product or service.

If you want a firm that will out work and out hustle everyone else, give us a call.

Why the Name WestShore Public Relations?

When Mike DeVilling was a young boy, his family went on vacation, renting a cottage on Bear Lake, Michigan’s west shore. That cottage and that lake provided joy and meaning for Mike and his family for more than 40 years.

Now, he is building a company that provides joy and meaning to employees and clients alike. WestShore is his metaphor for helping realize that dream.

Mike DeVilling, President & CEO

Mike DeVilling likes to run marathons. Yes…it’s a crazy hobby. But, it’s the perfect metaphor for what he brings to his clients each and every day.

Marathon training takes discipline. It takes energy. It takes focus. It takes determination, resiliency and toughness.

These same attributes come in handy in the business world. Developing and implementing a successful long-term communication plan takes the same focus and determination as running a marathon. Mike has put these lessons to work every day for more than 30 years.

From startups to Fortune 500 companies, and from consumer initiatives to highly targeted B2B campaigns, Mike has driven client strategy, media relations and social media results in the automotive, real estate, health care, energy, technology and professional services sectors.

He’s helped build start-ups into recognized brands. He’s helped make some of Detroit’s most important events major players on a world stage.

If you want someone who will constantly go the extra mile for your organization, give him a call.
